Focus on WRITING
Parents complain that kids are not taught to write clearly.  Employers are even more outspoken about the need for schools to produce graduates with stronger writing skills.  Students themselves complain both about the schools' writing requirements being too difficult and not creative enough.

How important is writing?
Writing is a vitally important life skill. The link between writing skills and academic success is clear and most standardized tests assess writing. Employers care more about writing skills today, as most jobs now require some writing.
